"Tourist Flower" for the Šargan Eight

Our series of short documentary films about Šargan Eight was part of the presentation of the Mokra gora museum-tourist complex at the competition for the highest award in the field of tourism in Serbia - Tourist Flower - which they have now received!

The DVD with our films was also the main promotional material of Mokra Gora at the Venice Tourism Fair in 2023.

In explaining its decision, the jury stated: "The Šargan Eight is a unique and specific tourist product in all respects that has great potential for further development. The Šargan Eight museum-tourist complex has implemented numerous projects: Traffic signaling project for marking tourist destinations, reestablishing traffic on the section of the Mokra Gora - Višegrad railway and others of interest for the development of tourism. The declaration of Mokra Gora as the best tourist village in 2021 is a prestigious recognition that will further increase the recognition and attendance of not only this locality but also of Western Serbia, which as a tourist destination records continuous growth in demand and this year it was visited by 300,000 tourists, while 80,000 guests traveled on the "Nostalgia" train. As one of the backbones of the tourist development of Mokra Gora and its surroundings, the Šargan Eight will continue to nurture its carefully built image in the years to come."
